Genomics The study of genomes, including genome mapping and sequencing.
Transcriptomics The study of the gene expression (mRNA or transcripts) profile present in a particular cell, tissue, or organism.
Proteomics The study of the full complement of proteins present in a particular cell, tissue, or organism.
Metabolomics The study of the full complement of metabolites present in a particular cell, tissue, or organism.
Nutrigenetics The study of how the genetics of an organism affect response to diet.
Nutrigenomics The study of how nutrients or bioactive dietary components affect host gene expression.
